He attended the school\u2019s Rome Program where he spent one-half year studying in Rome and traveling in Europe and North Africa. Mr. Ten Broeck attended law school at Loyola University School of Law.<\/p>\n<p>His experience includes working at the Cook County State\u2019s Attorney\u2019s office and, from 1992 onward, he developed a criminal defense practice in the State courts. Mr. Ten Broeck\u2019s experience includes conducting jury trials in which he obtained six findings of not guilty by juries and approximately 40 not-guilty findings in judge-held trials. This practice also included federal civil right trials in the federal courts, as well as other civil matters such as real estate disputes, trademarks, partnership litigation.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Ten Broeck\u2019s immigration practice began in 2001. Since that time, he has represented hundreds of persons before the Immigration Courts in Chicago, New York, Texas, Michigan, and Minnesota. He has successfully fought for his clients\u2019 right to remain in the United States in spite of prior immigration violations and criminal offenses. A first-generation daughter of immigrants, she has developed a deep compassion for the immigrant experience early in her life. She attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where she received her Bachelor\u2019s of Art in History with a minor in Spanish. While still an undergraduate she assisted pro se individuals at the Champaign County Courthouse in small claims and family law. She then obtained her Juris Doctor from DePaul University College of Law where she active in the school\u2019s mediation team and won an award for her mediation skills at the 2012 International Mediation Competition.<\/p>\n<p>At DePaul, Christine was honored to be chosen to work at the International Human Rights Institute in Beijing, China assisting HIV positive individuals, women and children, and other marginalized groups in Chinese society. Upon returning from Beijing, she was inspired by her experience abroad to produce a documentary on comparative public interest law meant to encourage legal practitioners in China to engage in advocacy for vulnerable populations. She was also able to successfully garner support in the United States to hold an educational conference on public interest law for Chinese law students and attorneys in Beijing.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to joining the firm, she worked for one of the city\u2019s most well-known workers\u2019 rights litigation firms. However, her true calling was human rights work and she found that she was able to make a both a local and an international impact in immigration deportation defense. Ms. Varghese is a dedicated and zealous advocate for her clients. She has worked on hundreds of cases and successfully represented clients in a wide range of immigration cases \u2013 specifically waivers, VAWA petitions, U-Visas, adjustment of status, cancellation of removal for non-permanent and permanent residents, asylum, and U.N. and, after high school, left Chicago for Texas to study at the University of Dallas where he studied ancient philosophy and literature. Mr. Ten Broeck attended law school at Loyola University School of Law.\\n\\nHis experience includes working at the Cook County State\\u2019s Attorney\\u2019s office and, from 1992 onward, he developed a criminal defense practice in the State courts. Mr. Ten Broeck\\u2019s experience includes conducting jury trials in which he obtained six findings of not guilty by juries and approximately 40 not-guilty findings in judge-held trials. This practice also included federal civil right trials in the federal courts, as well as other civil matters such as real estate disputes, trademarks, partnership litigation.\\n\\nMr. Ten Broeck\\u2019s immigration practice began in 2001. Since that time, he has represented hundreds of persons before the Immigration Courts in Chicago, New York, Texas, Michigan, and Minnesota. He has successfully fought for his clients\\u2019 right to remain in the United States in spite of prior immigration violations and criminal offenses. A first-generation daughter of immigrants, she has developed a deep compassion for the immigrant experience early in her life. While still an undergraduate she assisted pro se individuals at the Champaign County Courthouse in small claims and family law. She then obtained her Juris Doctor from DePaul University College of Law where she active in the school\\u2019s mediation team and won an award for her mediation skills at the 2012 International Mediation Competition.<\\\/p>\\n\n\n<p>At DePaul, Christine was honored to be chosen to work at the International Human Rights Institute in Beijing, China assisting HIV positive individuals, women and children, and other marginalized groups in Chinese society. Upon returning from Beijing, she was inspired by her experience abroad to produce a documentary on comparative public interest law meant to encourage legal practitioners in China to engage in advocacy for vulnerable populations. She was also able to successfully garner support in the United States to hold an educational conference on public interest law for Chinese law students and attorneys in Beijing.<\\\/p>\\n\n\n<p>Prior to joining the firm, she worked for one of the city\\u2019s most well-known workers\\u2019 rights litigation firms. However, her true calling was human rights work and she found that she was able to make a both a local and an international impact in immigration deportation defense.
